{{This is a work in progress. But hopefully, for now you can get the just of the plot.}}
The old wolf coughed, and wheezed, giving you a weary glance. ''Ah...ah yes. I remember it like it was yesterday...''
''You see, one day, when I was just a little pup, I noticed that the sun was started to lose it's shine. I did not think much of it, until the once beautiful land started to lose its glow, and dark clouds started to hover above. Before I knew it...this land was almost pitch black, however a few spots of sunlight managed to find its way through the cracks in the dark sky. And now, that is all we have, is it not?'' You glance outside. Yes...the elder is right. Only a few spots of sunlight. ''The only color now...in this land...is the meadow. Oh...the beautiful meadow...'' The old wolf goes into a coughing fit once more, a look of peace coming over his face. ''I believe that other lands have sunlight still....if they didn't, they would not call this, 'the cursed land' or...''The Wounded land.'' Suddenly, the old wolf seems to lose his voice. You jerk up from your sitting position, starting to fret a bit. ''Alas...'' He coughs. ''Alas I cannot tell you more...I must...go now.'' Your expression saddens, understanding his words...
The old wolf slowly closes his eyes, and goes limp. You cannot help but mourn for a short while before leaving the den.
As you walk, you wonder how this came to be. Maybe this was a punishment from The Creator? No..no. Oh well, you think. It doesn't matter. What's done, is done.

The loss of sunlight, seems to have had an effect on prey. You notice now, even small rabbits have a black aura around them, and seem to have lost their fur color. Their eyes are pure white, glowing fiercely. It is rare that you see any prey without these unusual mutations. They are still edible, but they have become more aggressive, and also put up more of a fight then before.
